First produced circa 2004, the Nike Zoom Miler has been
a favorite among middle distance and distance runners for the last several years.
The Miler features a lightweight
upper with two distinct sections, a pleather forefoot for increased lockdown and a japanese mesh heel for supreme comfort.
The outsole of the spike is made
up of a pebax spike plate which runs down 3/4 of the shoe, and a sharkskin heel. The plate, which contains 6 removable pins,
is renowned for its aggresive feel, which allows athletes to run more on their forefoot than they might otherwise.

The Zoom Miler has been worn in competition by many elites,
including Hicham El Guerrouj and Alan Webb, but is also a favorite among high school athletes.

Milers retail for $100, but after 2008, which looks to be their last year of production, their value might increase among
spike collectors.
One of the colorways, the kenyan colorway (green/red),
could probably go for a little more as it is the most rare.
